The Children's Place is Kansas City's specialized trauma treatment center, serving young children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma. It has done this work since 1978.
Fore the Kids has partnered with the organization since 2019, funding classrooms, facility improvements, therapeutic resources, and a mobile therapy program that brings counseling to children during the school day.
