Children’s Mercy identifies the gaps in youth mental health care. We raise the money to close them.
Since 2017 Fore the Kids has been a major beneficiary for the Illuminate project, Children’s Mercy’s strategic mental health plan for Kansas City.

The Children's Place of Kansas City.
Not every kid who needs help ends up in a hospital. Some of them are four years old, and what happened to them happened at home. Since 1978, The Children's Place has worked with Kansas City's youngest children after abuse, neglect, and trauma, at an age when most people assume kids are too young to remember.
Fore the Kids has helped to fund their work since 2019. That money has gone to classrooms, facility improvements, therapeutic resources, and a mobile therapy program that brings counseling straight to kids during the school day, instead of asking families to find a way to get there.
